The D&D was a fantastic event with much of it spent drinking and making a fool of ourselves. Bjorn came along since I had no partner for the night and he was impressed with the quality or our D&D party. Won a $100 Takashimaya voucher in the consolation draw after the event was over. Gave it to my mum for her to go shopping.
Picked up my stamp at the QA department last week and I can officially stamp off my own work now. Quite pleased with the progress I am making although the road to success is still a long way to go.
It has been a long year juggling work, school and my own time. Hopefully, I can gain more recognition next year and step up to the next level. Currently more than halfway through my studies, the determination to complete the course is burning in me.
Looking back, the occasional thought of giving up which lingers in my mind now and then is still quite vivid. I am just glad that I didn't succumbed to the thoughts and gave up.
Losing focus is one of the many things one must fight in a lifetime. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but why bother to look over the fence when you don't eat grass anyway.
